Patrice Brooks-Gelling joined Keller and Heckman in 2011. She practices in the area of food and drug law. Ms. Brooks-Gelling advises domestic and foreign clients regarding compliance with direct and indirect food additive, food packaging, and labeling regulations.
While in law school, Ms. Brooks-Gelling worked as a Summer Legal Intern at a Connecticut-based pharmaceutical company, focusing on FDA and state law compliance.
Prior to law school, Ms. Brooks-Gelling worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the American Cancer Society National Home Office in the area of Underserved Populations. In addition, Ms. Brooks-Gelling is a 2006 Teach for America Corps Member and served as a high school biology teacher in Atlanta, Georgia for two years. Ms. Brooks-Gelling has a background in public health education, as well as body composition research.
