Megan Pletka joined Keller and Heckman in 2010 and works in the Pesticides practice area.
Prior to joining Keller and Heckman, Ms. Pletka worked as a contractor for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in the Office of Pesticide Programs. Within this position, Ms. Pletka gained valuable knowledge of the initial steps in the federal pesticide registration process. Among other tasks, she reviewed data submissions, various documentation, and the chemical composition of pesticides for compliance with EPA regulations.
Ms. Pletka has extensive experience counseling clients on compliance with EPA regulations. In particular, she has assisted companies with pesticide registration requirements, and guided companies through the quality control process.
Ms. Pletka's current areas of focus at Keller and Heckman include registration and general maintenance of pesticide products at both the federal level with EPA and state level in all states as well as several U.S. territories. Within the federal area, Ms. Pletka works on notifications, non-notifications, amendments, and all other necessary tasks required at the federal level. At the state level, Ms. Pletka works on product renewals, label revisions, and all other necessary tasks required at the state level.
