David Ettinger joined Keller and Heckman in 1999. Mr. Ettinger represents domestic and foreign corporations in the area of food and drug law.
Mr. Ettinger specializes in counseling clients on product development and product protection of food and drug packaging in the United States, Europe, Asia, Canada, and South America. From 2006-2007, Mr. Ettinger was the U.S. resident partner in Keller and Heckman's Brussels office where he counseled clients on global food packaging matters.
Mr. Ettinger serves as Chair of the Firm's Recruitment Committee, and is a member of the Firm's Marketing Committee. In addition, he is on the Executive Board of Mackrell International (a global network of over 75 international law firms), and is Chair of Mackrell International's Regulatory Practice Group.
Prior to joining Keller and Heckman, Mr. Ettinger was a trademark attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Additionally, he has extensive trial experience as a former assistant district attorney in the Nassau County District Attorney's Office in New York where he prosecuted felonies and misdemeanors.
