Alisa Karlsons joined Keller and Heckman in 2008. She practices in the area of food and drug law, specializing in advising domestic and foreign corporations in matters of FDA and international regulatory compliance, with an emphasis on food packaging. Her work includes assisting clients in establishing clearances for food-contact materials in the U.S., the European Union, Canada, South America, and the Pacific Rim. Ms. Karlsons also has experience in tobacco product regulation, as well as in matters related to consumer product safety, including compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA).
Ms. Karlsons is a dual American-Latvian citizen and is fluent in Latvian.
